It's the same for all pets, not only cats xD My magpie thinks she's the master of the house, especially kitchen and tries to drive away anyone that enters xD It's quite hard getting anything out of the refrigerator while trying to avoid being pecked xD

Nah, I'm just used to it xD And well... yeah, magpies aren't your usual pet, we just found her so sick that untill she was good enough to be freed she was too used to us and wouldn't manage on her own. She was just a chick then... and 10 years old now xD
