Here's a kodoma from Princess Mononoke made out of Sculpey. It's my first finished model and my first time handling Sculpey as well, and I've learnt to just buy white, or any other neutral colour.. because painting a beige sculpture in WHITE is friggin' tedious. -_-; I've lost count of how many layers I've painted the kodoma with, but as you can see, it's still not entirely smooth and perfect
Thinking of buying proper white Sculpey to make a few more of these fellas so that I can have them around my room. For your information, kodomas are forest spirits which guided the main character in Princess Mononoke.. this one I made was based on this particular fella. |

Yeah...I hate the buffing part after you've made the sculpture. It sometimes takes longer than actually making the form. I wish I didn't have finger prints sometimes...
